The fish is 49kg. at 1.72m. long and was latter sold seperately to diners there.
The total revenue collected for this fish by the restaurant owner was 200,000 SGD.!!!

Unbelievable, SGD100K for this fish??? If this fish really cost SGD100K, then i must have eaten some real expensive dinners…hahaa!!!  You see, we have lots of this fish at Port Klang. We called them as “Ikan Selampai’, a family of Jew Fish, great fighter indeed. Well, this fish has the most expensive ‘bladder’(Yu Pio) but it’s fresh/meat taste exactly like a Ikan Gelama, basically ‘tasteless’.
