I was a radio operator and was put on the old lighthouse for the day to relay the rise of the tide back to the surveyors onboard the ship. The crew of One Fathom Bank lighthouse were very hospitable. They gave me a tour of the lighthouse and having freshly caught skate, gave me the most fantastic skate curry for my lunch. The new OFB lighthouse wasn't around at that time. Hello,
